About Us

Determined to find a way to provide help and inspiration for others in need of home care, Angel Companions was formed in 2004. Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as a Home Care Agency/Registry in 2009, the company provides non-medical in-home care for seniors.

Its parent, NurseBank America, was organized as a home health management company. Initially it provided nurse staffing services to hospitals and facilities. Today, NurseBank America offers its services through its two wholly-owned subsidiaries – Angel Companions, LLC and Main Line Nurses, LLC. Services provided by Angel Companions consist of non-medical home care to include help with the activities of daily living (light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, etc.) as well as personal care such as assistance with dressing, toileting and bathing. Main Line Nurses provides in-home skilled care such as nurse visits, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Since its founding, the company has successfully provided in-home care to thousands of families in suburban Philadelphia.

NurseBank America continues to evolve and has recently begun an expansion initiative through the creation of a franchising company, Angel Companions Franchising, LLC. Franchises are operational in the States of Pennsylvania and Georgia.
