What will I receive as part of the Angel Companions franchise system?
We will provide a pre-opening training program for franchisees at our corporate headquarters, including classroom training as well as on-the-job training, plus onsite support during your initial months of operations. As a franchise owner, you will have access to all Angel Companions trademarks, operational tools and procedures. We’ll also present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your business properly on a day-to-day basis.
What type of prior experience do I need to have?
You do not necessarily need senior care of healthcare industry experience to join the Angel Companions system. We do look for franchise owners who will be dedicated to the growth of their Angel Companions businesses, and who are passionate about making a difference for seniors and families in their communities. Regardless of your background, we’ll provide you the support you need to run your Angel Companions senior care business. We do, of course, also expect that you have the right amount of capital to invest in the franchise.
How much will the Angel Companions franchise investment cost me?
The estimated required investment for a single Angel Companions franchise location ranges between $59,050 and $81,950, including a franchise fee of $39,500. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?
Franchisees will be required to pay royalties of on a declining scale based on gross sales, with a minimum payment of $500 per month. A 5% will apply to monthly gross sales up to $85,000; 4% for between $85,000 and $170,000; and 3% for over $170,000. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend at least $500 per month in local advertising. Franchisees may also be required to contribute between 0.5% and 2% of monthly gross revenue to the Angel Companions brand development fund; however, we are not contemplating a brand fund collection at the current time. Any collected funds will ultimately be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Angel Companions brand and fund the creative costs to develop any local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
Is financing available?
We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending agencies, on a case-by-case basis.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with a ten-year successor term.
